What is TAE40110?

TAE40110 is the new code for the Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification, which will replace the current TAA40104 Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification.  Aspin has both on its scope of registration.

When will TAE40110 replace TAA40104?

By May 2011 all students in Australia will be required to enrol in TAE40110, and no new enrolments will be taken for TAA40104. Current Aspin students are transitioning from TAA to TAE now.  WE will only enrol in TAE from January 2011.

What is the difference between TAE40110 and TAA40104? 

The new course has 10 units. Components of the old course have been moved to the new units and new materials added to meet the latest version of the AQTF2010. 

What will Aspin do?

Aspin is currently developing a new online TAE401101 course, which will be innovative, intuitive and fun to use. This will be ready for students to use in early to mid 2011.  In the mean time we will run a regular face to face fast track TAE program from late February 2011 at Camberwell. Students will receive an assessment pack to complete after the training.  Day time and Tuesday evening available.

What if you start TAA40104, but want to change to TAE40110?

We are currently transtioning TAA students to TAE, but please note that it will be a simple process, with the full support of your trainer and our training staff.  You can enrol now and start with the continuing 2010 groups and you will be transitioned.

All who have or will commence TAA with Aspin in 2010 will be upgraded to TAE free of charge.
