New funding for scholarship

Do you have a degree or a Certificate IV or Diploma and are ineligible for State funding for your TAE certificate or upgrade? Do you want to upgrade your BSZ to a TAE?

The Victorian government has announced that it will provide funding in the way of a new VET scholarship Program for those undertaking the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), or upgrading from BSZ to TAE qualification they may already have.

The scholarship will give each student $1,000 - $3000 to go towards the cost of the program, regardless of current qualifications. This will potentially fund the program and be cost neutral for the student.

CALL NOW on 1300 754 771 or email info@aspingroup.com.au for more information.

Train the Trainer

We are just launching our new train the trainer style course for those who need to train staff at work but really do not need the full Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.  The course is enrolling now for Brisbane and Melbourne in November, and Sydney in February 2012.

Participants still receive a Statement of Attainment for the 3 units studied.  The course is delivered via a workshop, step by step online study and then a presentation day.  We start this new version on August 29th for the workshop.  Participants can then opt to come to the presentation day two weeks later on the 13th September or approximately six weeks later, allowing for faster or slower completion according to work and life needs.

Margaret Aspin (CEO, Aspin Group) | Diana Heggie (CEO, Scope) | Rachael Guthridge (Guest Speaker, Monument Marketing)

It has been a long but worthwhile journey for the graduates who have been developing a range of management and leadership skills to implement in their workplace. Participants in the program agreed that the program has enriched their workplaces and had made a real difference in their roles.

Scope CEO, Diana Heggie, congratulated the graduates on their committment and ability to juggle the work life balance needed to undertake studying. She also reminded them to embrace the exciting but challenging role leadership requires, that of team work, transparency, brave leadership and a calm attitude.

Once again Aspin would like to thank Scope for the opportunity of working closely with their staff and continuing the important role ongoing learning plays in all excellent organisations.
